God does not want you to struggle, and make yourself miserable to get rid of your sins. He wants you to be happy, trusting, joyful in heart, and dependent on Him to take away your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness! Agonize in prayer, not in life!

Quit trying! God loves you now! There is none righteousness. All our righteousness is as filthy rags. You cannot earn, nor ever deserve heaven or God's love. But God loves you, not because of your righteousness, but because He made you and you are His child. Whether you are a good child or a bad child, you are still His child, and He loves you. He is always love. Always! Regardless of our actions.

We can only get to heaven if the "selfless love" of Christ reigns in our hearts. It is not our sins that keep us out of heaven, but our self-centeredness! That is what sin is - my way over God's way. Should the love of self ever arise in any heart in heaven, the very essence of sin would be back again, and the whole sad war of the universe would have to be repeated. Do not let it happen to you. Give your heart to God now, and let Him begin His work to prepare you to live among angels.

Our righteousness is not dependent on actions but on our relationship with God. The closer we get to Jesus in that relationship, the more it will seem as though our nerve endings, and our brain waves will be the same as our dear Saviour. Get to know Him. How? By meditation, prayer, Bible study, and by looking at the cross. What does "Look at the cross" mean? It means to look at God who loved the men that beat Him so bad that His ribs stared at Him (Ps 22:17) and still said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing. I pray that they will be with me where I am, because you have given them to me. You have given me all men!" - Psalm 22:16-17.

Being connected to God is more than any doctrine. Doctrine only explains how, and why we are to be connected. By beholding the love of our life we will become more and more like Him until the day He is able to look at us and see only Himself. Remember though only God can change a heart. God has sent His gifts to a sin-ladened world because of His love for sinners. He came to seek and save the lost, not the saints, for we are all lost and doomed without God's intervention. He came to save people whose hearts have become hard because of emotional pain brought about by sin and Satan. God wants to take sin out of the world, but He has to do it one person at a time or no one would remain.

God pleads with us, "How can I give thee up?" (Hosea 11:8). He is no more willing to give us up than He is to live by Himself without us. That is why He sent His only Son to die in our stead. He has already won your place in heaven back from Satan. Do you trust Him enough to accept it? You are the one He came to save because you need Him the most. We are weak, helpless, and hopeless. That is why we need a Saviour.

Let God save you. More than His own life He wants you in heaven. How can we turn down an offer like that? What more can He do? He is drawing us, wooing us with His love, teaching and guiding us. He is doing all the work. Believe in Him and His love for you and me. That is all He needs!

Jesus took our place on the cross. He died our second death, the eternal death that we deserve that He may give us eternal life that we do not deserve. God does not change. He is not going to take back what He paid such a high price to give us. It is ours. A free gift from God. Will you, like Esau, sell your soul for to gratify a gluttonous appetite? For money? For sexual pleasure or for pride's sake?

We have "Spiritual Tunnel vision." All we can see is this narrow, little picture of God by what we can see with our eyes in our daily lives. We cannot see all that the Lord has done for us. He has given us all of heaven. God, the Father, freely gave to us His Son to kill. God, the Son, refused to condemn or punish us but died that we may live with Him. God, the Holy Spirit, is working constantly to help you see what love with which the Godhead loves us. The angels are sent to Earth to work on our behalf. God has given all that He has for you and me. We just do not see it. We just do not get it. God sees the end from the beginning. He decided long ago, knowing the end from the beginning that all He gave was worth it just to have you by His side for eternity. And there is more. How many times has He saved our lives from car accidents by sending you the blessing of a flat tire? Why did some people not go to work on 9-11? Why are you reading this book right now? Just a little something for you to ponder between chapters.

I am writing this book with only one purpose in mind. I have always promised God, if He ever showed me plainly the way that is true, and that works, I would tell everyone that would listen. I would help everyone I could. That day has finally arrived. Let me help you.
