The Gospel in Prayer


Dear Father,

May we continue to endure in faith, and never give up, nor believe Satan's lies against you, nor listen to his accusations against ourselves, no matter how true they may be. May we trust you unto the end, no matter what the outcome may be. May we do this from a willing, unselfish heart that looks only to glorify your name on Earth as it is glorified in Heaven. May we let your light shine through us, so that you can make us fit representatives of your loving character. May we learn to trust more fully in your promises and love. Please grant us the power to think of all the souls in the world that need you and to stop thinking about ourselves. Hold us up that we may endure unto the end, and in the end be able to sit at your feet, and learn more truth of your goodness and mercy. Teach us, Oh Lord, I pray to look to you for all our righteousness, and to see in you our only hope of salvation. May we put our lives in your hands, and trust that you, oh Holy God, will finish what you have begun in us. Thank you so much for being the God that you are ... a God of infinite self-sacrificing love, compassion, and mercy. And most of all for your infinite power to save lost souls such as I. Amen!
